Outreach, as the name suggests, is the means whereby Survivors Poetry connects with, encourages, supports, and nurtures its constituency nationwide.
The two main vehicles of Outreach are the national Network Groups, an affiliated network of local survivor writing groups, each independent but all working within the SP ethos; and the Vale House Project, which works with addicts, largely, though not always, in recovery programmes.
The Mentoring Scheme dovetails with Outreach, by facilitating survivor poets to reach in to the organisation while being reached out to by it.
